Smart devices in the workplace could be used to hold businesses to ransom

The rise in organisations adopting ‘smart technology’ means businesses are just as much in danger of being held to ransom over data. It’s not just consumers who are at risk from having their smart devices hacked.

The National Crime Agency and National Cyber Security Centre warns that smartphones, watches and fitness trackers could be used to hold people to ransom over data. Ransomware is software used by hackers to make devices unusable until their owners back to unlock them.

IT experts swap screens for the stage

Four members of Taylor Made have turned their attention to entertaining audiences in a cover band, Such Great Heights. They take current and original material from the charts and make them their own.

Luke Betteridge, Steve Stokes, Luke Lucas and Dan Todd are set to show off their musical talents on their biggest stage to date as they perform at Portsmouth’s New Theatre Royal.

Taylor Made are delighted to be hosting this prestigious Pro-Celebrity Charity Golf and Gala Dinner in aid of Wessex Heartbeat at The Hilton Ageas Bowl’s picturesque 18-hole golf course, due to open this summer.

It will mark one of the first opportunities for people to try out the par 69 parkland course and the first charity golf day to be held there.

Taylor Made has gone the extra mile to ensure our staff can help customers who are Deaf or have hearing loss.

The Taylor Made team has worked with the Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) to give employees training so they can work better with Deaf clients. We have even changed some of our working practices as a result of the training, helping to provide a better service.
